First of all, Ryan is AMAZING.  I can't even count the number of small joys he brings to my life.

Ryan is largely a blue personality, with some definite hints of white.  He is driven by his morals and values and puts his relationships first, ALWAYS.  He'll say he has had a good day if he has made a meaningful connection with someone.  He nurtures his friendships and keeps his loved ones close.

He is happiest when he is enjoying an activity that he loves with me, and with his family.  I bring out his silly side, I can tell.  We are playful together, and Ryan is always quick to laugh.  He enjoys music, anything Apple or technology-based, and enjoys figuring out how to make things function at their best.

He has so much depth and perspective in his outlook on life.  He is spiritually-minded.  He gets that from his parents and his grandparents, who are very involved in his life.  He appreciates spending quality time with others and always seeks to understand rather than to assume or judge.  He is a kind and attentive listener and appreciates being understood, himself.  Because he is so intuitive of my feelings and my needs, I consider him to be the most thoughtful man I know.

The moments when I appreciate him most are when he does things to serve me, because he knows how important that is to me.  During my years in the dental hygiene program, he NEVER ONCE made me feel torn between the relationship we had and the classwork I had to do. He always gives me the time I need to achieve my goals and he supports me in everything.  He tells me I'm beautiful, and always puts me first.  He is always seeking my comfort, even to the extent of giving me a back massage nearly every night before bed...I KNOW, right!!!, I snagged a good one. :)  I thought I knew him well before we were married, but I couldn't have even anticipated how lucky I would be to have Ryan as my husband.  My love tank is full.

He is a very rational person.  He weighs the results of his decisions carefully, and rarely takes a step forward without knowing he will be stepping on sure ground.  This is a great strength of his, especially when matched with my impulsivity.  It does, on occasion, make him more worrisome than necessary when the future is unclear but in those moments I am able to step in and encourage him.  We balance each other well.  He is committed and loyal in all his responsibilities and relationships.  He is a worthy priesthood holder and blesses our family with his great faith.  I love this man dearly.

Ryan, describing his goals for the future:

I hope to raise a family of three or four adopted children with my wife. I plan to further my education and career by gaining my CompTIA Security+ certification, thus enabling me to increase my work responsibilities and salary. I plan to always be a loving husband and father to my wife and future children. I hope to be able to find new adventures to experience together with my family. I have a goal to make sure that we teach our children the gospel and to have them know for sure that we love them and to keep our communication very open knowing they can talk to us about anything.
